My name is Ross Romenesko and I’m a cancer survivor. When I was 6, I was diagnosed with Burkitt’s Lymphoma. I just celebrated my 10th year of remission. I’ve gone through stuff like chemotherapy, a seizure, a 106 degree temperature and two surgeries. Cancer has changed my life. It’s taught me to respect my life and the lives of others. It’s taught me the importance of family and friends. It’s taught me that if you put your mind to almost anything it can happen. Whether it’s beating cancer, fund raising for cancer, or being a senior in high school, a positive attitude makes a difference. |
