Invitation to Join Our Team
Has cancer touched your
life or the life of someone you love?
Have you ever asked yourself "What can I do to make a
difference?"
"How can I support my mother, my brother, my
friend?"
The answer is
clear.
You can walk to support their struggle with cancer.
You can raise funds to support research to cure cancer.
You can join the Ross Romenesko
Team.
And now, a personal invitation from The Romeneskos:
Thanks
to everyone who has supported the Ross Romenesko Team and welcome to all new
participants.
You
embody the spirit that will one day defeat cancer.
You
support cancer survivors.
You
remember the victims of cancer.
Your
dollars fund research and support programs to educate cancer patients and their
families.
A
heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you.
Together, we make a difference.

Romeneskos
The following contains important information on how to join - so please read carefully.
On May 10th, the American Cancer Society will be holding the 21st Annual Sole Burner Run/Walk, the largest in the state. The Ross Romenesko Team is participating for the seventh consecutive year. Last year, we raised over $7000.00.
If
you are interested in joining this year’s team as a runner or walker, complete
the enclosed entry form (keep the pledge portion).
Please use only one form per participant.
If you are registering as a family, photocopy the form and complete one
for each individual in your family. Return your entry forms with your entry fee
($9 for 13 and under, $13 for adults, $40 for families, plus an additional $1.00
charge for each XXL t-shirt) to us by April 1st.
Return the pledge portions to
us by May
5th.
Check
out our website at www.rossromenesko.org. A huge thank you to Pam and Rod
Reynolds for developing and maintaining this site.
It contains a link to the Sole Burner home page where you can download
forms and even register online, a big time saver for us.
Be sure to indicate Ross Romenesko as your team name.
You can also read excerpts from Ross’ book, I
Had a Tumor, It Wasn’t a Rumor, a poem by Tina,
tips for cancer patients, a
printable Donor Form, and much more.
As
a member of the Ross Romenesko Team, you will receive a T-shirt with our team
name and logo on the back, and the pledges you solicit will be added to the team
total. If
you’re unavailable on May 11th, but would still like to show your support,
please send a pledge to us and we will include it in Ross’ team total.
The annual Celebration of Life
will follow the race at our home in thanks for all of your past and present
support. Together
we make a difference in the fight against cancer.
